Dr. Bhatt completed his undergraduate studies in chemistry at the University of Alberta in Canada. He attended Texas Chiropractic College and graduated with honors. He trained at Memorial Hospital in Houston with Dr. McDougall and at the VA Hospital with Dr. Glen Landon.

Dr. Bhatt began his practice with Dr. Defoyd in 1993. They formed the Spine and Rehabilitation Center, the first multidisciplinary spine clinic in Central Texas. The Center includes orthopedic spine specialists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, physician assistants, chiropractors and physical therapists.

Dr. Bhatt believes in the conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions. He has built his practice by developing a reputation as a conservative chiropractor who will refer patients to the appropriate specialist if progress is not as expected. He is a chiropractor who has significant amounts of post-graduate training in various rehabilitation techniques as well as soft tissue mobilization methods. Dr. Bhatt is a certified McKenzie Method practitioner and completed the Titleist Performance Institute Medical Provider Level 2 training.

Dr. Bhatt also incorporates acupuncture into his practice. Dry needling is an acupuncture method that is widely utilized to assist in the recovery and maintenance of soft tissues. Dr. Bhatt currently provides chiropractic services and travels with the PGA and Champions Tours. “I have a passion for the sport of golf and enjoy keeping my patients on the course,” says Dr. Bhatt, “I enjoy treating the PGA professional just as much as I like to take care of the average golfer that is interested in improving their game.” He is a chiropractor for the University of Texas Sports Medicine Staff.

Leanne Stigler, MSOM, LMT

Leanne Stigler, MSOM, LMT

Leanne loves to share her passion for health and wellness and has worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006. Her treatments are tailored to the individual needs of each patient and include a range of techniques including: targeted deep tissue massage, cupping, sports massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, reflexology, Thai Massage stretching and TCM acupressure, (Ashiatsu Deep Feet Bar Therapy).

Her treatments incorporate a distinct clinical focus aimed at correcting structural imbalances, increasing performance, and decreasing pain. Often Leanne prescribes home exercises and stretching to facilitate and enhance in-office treatments.

Leanne is certified in a range of bodywork specialties including: Medical Massage, Cupping Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Pre & Postnatal Massage. She has also trained in the Hakomi Method (a body-centered psychotherapy), is a certified Yoga Instructor and Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor. Additionally, she earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. 

Over the years of education, she embraces the principles of the body’s ability to reach balance on all levels: physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. She works to support the goals of her patients to reach their peak potential in body, mind, and spirit. When she is not with patients, Leanne enjoys long runs outside and cooking whole food meals. She continues to share her passion for medicine and health as a Massage Therapy Instructor and university professor of the Health Sciences. She has been teaching Anatomy & Physiology since 2017 to nursing and physical therapy students at South University and also taught comprehensive massage licensing programs at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School since 2008.
